Louis Vuitton Faces Lawsuit

Clint Arthur discovered after spending $12,00 on Murakami prints from the Louis Vuitton boutique inside the Murakami exhibit at L.A.'s Museum of Contemporary Art, was from repurposed materials (meaning my mans just spent $12,000 on purse scraps). At the point of Arthurs purchase he did not realize that those prints consisted of the same material created by Murakami for the Louis Vuitton Handbags (You Know? The Tacky Colorful Louie), which were also for sale at the time.

Arthur sued Vuitton last June. The class-action case initially only alleged that both Vuitton and the museum had failed to provide the information about the prints required under California's Fine Prints Act. Arthur then accused Vuitton of fraud. A hearing will be held Monday.
